"After Jeff Reed retired two months ago in January 2026, the new agent succeeded his office and took over all the customers. I expected to receive at least the same level of service, but that has not been the case. I spoke with the new agent Ryan’s wife on the phone twice. She seemed nice when I spoke with her last month. But today, on March 3, I felt disappointed. March is my birthday month, so I asked about the State Farm birthday gift coupon that can be redeemed at Sweetheart Bakery in this town. (Jeff used to send the coupons every year during his customers’ birthday months.) Ryan’s wife told me that their office cannot afford to continue the birthday coupon program. That was a very disappointing response from the agent of such a highly profitable insurance company. The sandwich coupon itself is not expensive at all. It only covers one regular sandwich at Sweetheart Bakery. But it means a lot as a birthday gift from State Farm to their customers. The new agent should not have stopped the birthday program."
